Ms. Shelby has been working in the childcare field since 2001 and started her tenure at the ELC in 2012 as a 3-year-old teacher. Through the years she joined the pre-K team as the half-day teacher. In 2017 Shelby started her administrative career at ELC as a Summer Camp Administrator and then as Assistant Director and was promoted to Director in 2020. She has worked with children from infancy through fifth grade and has found something special about each age group that she loves. Her degree is in Early Childhood Education and her credential level is 6. Ms. Shelby enjoys spending time with her husband, Jon, and their two children, Cole and Kamryn. She loves the beach, football (Go Steelers), painting, and traveling with her family. Ms. Shelby is proud of the family feel they’ve created at ELC and is excited to see the children grow and learn during their time here.
